So I started my own photoblog. If you don't know what a photoblog is, basically it's a blog, but instead of a billion articles that you post, you post photos and a small description (optional!). There's so much flexibility with having one, on my own domain, in my own webspace... I get to be hands-on and control everything I want. I design it to my liking, I post what I want, when I want, where I want, and how I want. People can comment, people can like/dislike... it's public... it's so much more free than dA is nowadays.
Here it is:

But then I though of a brilliant idea. Why not have a community of photoblogs? I know they exist, but they have ads, there's millions of them, anyone can sign up, and they're plain and simply BAD.
As a web developer myself, what I really want to do is create a private community of photobloggers, open only to applicants, who share interest in photography, who like it and who wish to criticize, comment, compliment each other in a positive way. Each individual would get their own photoblog.
But I need help.
If you're interested in helping out, just let me know. You can let others know about this too!
G'day everyone.

I hear
your voice
down the hall, through the window, above
all those trees, a light
it seems
& you are singing. What song
is that The words
are beautiful.
